Some might say that the inclusion of a Chipmunk in a series of images of the Battle Of Britain Memorial flight, is stretching things a bit. I disagree. I have flying time of one of these old girls, and they are no longer operational. They're historic, to me at least.
The Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight operates out of RAF Coningsby, in Lincolnshire (Flight Web Site).
