|Douglas A-4 Skyhawk|
The Douglas A-4 (Skyhawk) was a carrier based light bomber, though used by many countries that either did not possess a navy or had no carrier capability. It was highly successful in a number of wars, not least of which were Vietnam and the '73 Yom Kippur war. Used in a variety of roles over the years it was one of the smaller aircraft to be certified to carry nuclear weapons. It's many roles included trainer, bomber, interdictor, inteceptor, and in the film "Top Gun" a staring role as aggressor squadron aircraft.
