The F-5A and B were sometimes known as the Freedom Fighter, though later F-5E's and F's were referred to as Tiger II's. These aircraft served in Aggressor squadrons for many years. A sibling is the T-38 Talon used as an advanced trainer.

This was one of the Lakenheath based Aggressor Squadron F-5E's, at a rainy Binbrook airshow in 1987.
