I was born in Scotland in the last century, (Isn't that a terrible sounding thing!) just to the south of the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. I am of the Clan Maclean, but nothing to do with the character in the movie "The Highlander", nor the writer. I have lived near London, but spent most of my formative years in Lincolnshire in England.

Without getting too politically hot under the collar, I left England in the late 80's with Maggie Thatcher in power and moved to America. I met my wife here and we live happily in the shadow of New York City.
